As a salesperson you will meet a lot of people and you’ll have a lot of opportunities to make a sale. So when someone says no, just accept the rejection and move onto trying to make another sale.
Another way of dealing with rejection is not to take it personally. Just as you won’t consider yourself a raving success by making a sale or two, you shouldn’t consider yourself a failure when you get rejected. Besides, the person isn’t rejecting you, they’re rejecting what you’re selling. Always remember that.
